If you start pinch-zooming, though, more toggles show up as well, up to 10x. There are three zoom toggles available by default - 0.6x, 1x and 2x, even though there is no dedicated telephoto on the Redmi Note 8 2021. Most of the important controls are conveniently available straight from the main screen, with some hidden away just barely behind an extending sandwich menu, of sorts.
